Planning. Projects. Procurement.
The global transport sector is largely based on combustion engines using specific fuels based on crude oil. One of the options for decarbonising the transport sector is to gradually transition to climate-friendly fuels. In the short and medium term, there is no alternative to conventional combustion engines for aviation.
Our mission is to implement the substitution of fossil kerosene with Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).
Who we are
Dr Buse works as an external advisor for engineering companies as well as for consulting companies such as McKinsey&Company Inc. as a global expert on SAF and eSAF issues. He is a co-founder of the German initiative 'aireg' (Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany e. V.) and was a member of its executive board and advisory board for many years. Dr Buse is internationally networked in relevant committees such as ASTM, CAAFI and the IATA Aviation Energy Forum (AEF).
Our Expertise
Interdisciplinary teamwork is a must for specialised consulting services. Adeptus Green Management has worked as an expert in various consultancy assignments for third parties. Adeptus Green Management also has access to a network of experts, who - depending on the scope and content of the assignment - can work on developing a client-oriented solution under the governance of Adeptus Green Management.
What characterises us?
First mover in SAF use
As pioneers of the world's first commercial use of SAF in passenger transport, Dr Buse and his team were honored with the Green Tech Media Award in 2011 for operating more than 1,100 passenger flights with a 50% SAF blend on the Hamburg-Frankfurt route in Germany.
The renowned LT-Manager magazine named Dr Buse Manager of the Year 2014 for his innovations in developing an SAF logistics chain.
Pioneer in SAF Supply Chain Management
As a guest lecturer at the Technical Universities of Hamburg and Berlin, Dr Buse lectures on the challenges of establishing an SAF supply chain and the technical requirements for an uninterrupted SAF supply. In the spring of 2024, Dr Buse published his expertise on the transformation of jet fuel supply from fossil JET A-1 to sustainable SAF in a book (ISBN 978-1-032-57602-2), which will soon be available also in Mandarin in the People's Republic of China.
